“Charity is not helping others – it a duty to develop our community”
Pranav Foundation was established in the year 2021
Pranav Foundation was founded as a result of a group of young people realising that it was their social responsibility to give back to society. Pranav Foundation is professionally managed by a Board of Advisors, which is made up of people with a variety of backgrounds and skills, as well as an Executive Committee and a well-defined professional workforce.
Pranav Foundation works under two models, namely Civil Society Venture Philanthropy (CSVP) and Outreach.
Civil Society Venture Philanthropy (CSVP) is an innovative model based on the business concept of venture capital. Under CSVP, Pranav Foundation identifies, handholds and builds capacities of genuine grassroots NGOs. Pranav focuses on achieving scalability and sustainability, creating a culture of leadership and excellence and inculcating a deep sense of accountability among its partners.
Pranav Foundation found that local organisations’ capacities were insufficient to match the expectations of social investors when working in remote rural areas. Pranav Foundation performs development interventions directly under the outreach model since it demands intensive and professional participation for a wider and long-term result.
Pranav Foundation’s Outreach strategy allows it to gain first-hand knowledge with the subtleties of development at the grassroots, which it then shares with partner organisations.
A user-friendly application form is available on our website for an NGO to complete. Apart from that, whenever we have a need for a partner in a specific geographic area under one of our various programmes, we post notices on our website, mailers, and other internal communication channels.
In our journey so far, we have received immense support from numerous individuals, many private and public sector companies, development agencies, educational institutions, public figures and the mass media.
One can associate with us in any of these above-mentioned ways. Please visit the contact us or get involved section of our website for more information on the possible ways of being involved in our journey.
Interested candidates can go to contact us section of our website and write to the relevant section or department they are interested in volunteering with.
We believe that lasting change will not occur unless civil society members are actively participating in the development process. Pranav Foundation sensitises the civil society in order to make them partners in its purpose, believing in the notion of “Society Driven Change.”
Pranav Foundation is a national level development organization with its welfare projects spread across India.
There is a user-friendly application form available on our website that an NGO can fill. Apart from that we put notices in all our internal modes of communication like our website, mailers, etc. whenever there is a requirement for a partner in any particular geographical area under our various programmes.
A typical program in a designated field is long-term in nature. Meeting the objective of a program requires commitment of at least one year from volunteers.
We can refer you to local NGOs that organize evening / weekend reading sessions for the blind, coaching classes for rural or underserved schools.
Many interested volunteers contact us with offers to help. However, the foundation is a funding organization and we believe it is the organizations to which we give grants (and many others like them) that have the greatest need for volunteers.

Corporates provide about 70-80 percent of the organization’s funding; the balance comes from PSUs, individual donations, and private organisations.
Educational, cultural, health, and environmental activities are all promoted by the Foundation.
We don’t work with religious groups or political parties, and we don’t provide assistance to individuals. We support apolitical and non-religious non-governmental organisations (NGOs) working to improve the world.
Pranav Foundation seeks out new and dedicated grassroots organisations who are working to help underserved communities. We work with individuals and groups who want to make a difference but lack the skills and capacity to generate funds or work professionally.
At present Pranav Foundation is directly benefitting more than 10,000 people through welfare projects across the state.
