Empowering Tomorrow: Inauguration of the Computer Lab at Government Primary School, Mullia Atloor

The implementation of Computer Labs is a key educational initiative by Pranav Foundation, designed to enhance the quality of education in rural government schools. In August 2023, the foundation donated three laptops to the Government Primary School in Mullia Atloor, Sullia Taluk, Dakshina Kannada District. The inaugural ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, parents, villagers, and members of the old students’ association. Currently, around 90 children benefit from these laptops.

A dedicated teacher conducts classes for these children, focusing on basic computer knowledge, syllabus-related video demonstrations, and more. The foundation’s goal is to bring modern digital education to rural government schools. By 2030, they aim to establish computer labs and digital classrooms in 1000 schools across India. To achieve this goal, they have collaborated with several organizations, contributing to the fulfillment of SDG Goal No. 4 – Quality Education.

This initiative not only provides access to technology but also enhances the learning experience for students, equipping them with essential skills for the digital age. It also highlights the foundation’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and ensuring that students in rural areas have access to the same educational opportunities as their urban counterparts.
