Endangered Medicinal Plant Park

As part of its environmental initiatives, Pranav Foundation is planning an Endangered Medicinal Plantation drive in Sullia Taluk, Dakshina Kannada District. These medicinal plants are facing destruction and require attention. The foundation aims to create an Endangered Medicinal Plant Park on 2 acres of land near Sullia Taluk, aiming to grow 1000 saplings of these endangered species. Prof. Dr. Ashok Alur, Vice Chancellor of Kodagu University, Government of Karnataka, and an Honorary Advisory Board Member of the foundation, is providing guidance for implementing these saplings with necessary guidelines, leveraging his extensive experience as a Soil Scientist.

Pranav Foundation has already planted medicinal species like Neem, Wild clove, Wild jamun, Drumstick, etc., and plans to plant more saplings in 2024. They are also planning to implement an Endangered Medicinal Plantation drive in Sullia Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District, aiming to grow 1000 saplings of endangered medicinal species on 2 acres of land. The Foundation aims to create a sustainable habitat for these endangered species, ensuring their survival for future generations, and raising awareness about the importance of preserving medicinal plants and their role in biodiversity conservation.
