HEALTH INITIATIVES

In India, a staggering 2.4 million people succumb to the lack of basic healthcare facilities, revealing a distressing reality shaped by insufficient access and low care quality. At Pranav Foundation, we confront this stark truth with a commitment to elevate healthcare access and quality. Our mission revolves around bridging the healthcare gap, ensuring that underprivileged families and impoverished communities gain rightful access to high-quality medical services.

Meticulously identifying the challenges embedded within the healthcare industry, we collaborate with communities, systemic levels, and individuals. Through these partnerships, we strive to cultivate innovative methodologies that pave the way for the delivery of superior healthcare solutions.

In line with this commitment, Pranav Foundation is dedicated to implementing Dialysis Centers nationwide. Additionally, our vision extends to the establishment of community hospitals equipped with comprehensive emergency supports, specifically designed to benefit underprivileged communities. Our relentless pursuit is not just to provide healthcare; it’s about fostering a holistic approach to well-being, ensuring that every individual, regardless of circumstance, has the opportunity for a healthier and more fulfilling life.

DIALYSIS CENTRES

Dialysis services in India have been marked by limited accessibility, with a significant gap between demand and availability. According to data, around 2.2 lakh new cases of End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) are reported annually in the country. However, the number of dialysis units is far from meeting this demand. With approximately 4,950 dialysis centers across India, each center serves an average of 25 patients daily. This results in many patients facing challenges in accessing timely and affordable dialysis treatments, especially among the economically disadvantaged population. This glaring disparity underscores the urgent need for initiatives that bridge this gap and provide life-saving dialysis services to those who cannot afford it.

In response to this critical issue, the Pranav Foundation has embarked on a commendable initiative to establish eight dialysis centers across Karnataka. The foundation’s primary goal is to offer free dialysis treatment to approximately 1,000 underprivileged patients every month. By focusing on the economically vulnerable section of the population, the Pranav Foundation aims to significantly reduce the burden of kidney failure on those who are least able to afford proper treatment. This initiative not only addresses a pressing healthcare need but also demonstrates the foundation’s commitment to promoting equitable access to medical services and improving the overall well-being of marginalized communities in Karnataka. Through this effort, the Pranav Foundation sets an inspiring example of how private sector initiatives can play a pivotal role in filling healthcare gaps and enhancing the lives of those in need.

The Pranav Foundation is taking a proactive step to address the critical shortage of dialysis services in Sullia Taluk, Vijayapura, Bhatkala, Honnavara, and Bangalore.
These locations have been carefully selected based on requests from local healthcare authorities, including Taluk and District Hospitals, as well as input from the respective MLAs. By establishing dialysis centers in these areas, the foundation aims to bridge the gap in dialysis machine availability and ensure that essential medical care reaches those in need.

HEALTH CAMPS

Since our establishment in 2021, Pranav Foundation has made significant strides in healthcare outreach, touching the lives of over 25,000 individuals through our impactful Free Health Camps. These camps, meticulously organized for marginalized communities including slum residents, sanitation workers, school children, daily wage laborers, and government school teachers, exemplify our commitment to holistic well-being.
Each camp is a comprehensive endeavor, offering general health check-ups, dental examinations, eye tests, ECGs, echocardiograms, hearing tests, and the provision of free spectacles. These essential services, often financially burdensome for the underprivileged, aim to bridge the healthcare gap. Furthermore, our initiatives extend to distributing nutrition kits, ensuring a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Among our notable endeavors is the Cervical Cancer Screening Camp, benefiting over 100 government school teachers. This underscores our dedication to addressing specific health concerns prevalent in the communities we serve. As we move forward, our vision expands to reach rural underprivileged communities and tribal regions.
In our ongoing pursuit of impactful healthcare outreach, Pranav Foundation is gearing up to implement a Mobile Clinic van. This strategic step aligns with our mission to bring healthcare closer to those in rural communities, marking the next chapter in our journey of making a meaningful difference in the lives of the underserved. Join us as we continue to create impactful legacies in healthcare, one camp at a time.

COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE CENTRE

In our relentless pursuit of enhancing healthcare accessibility, Pranav Foundation is excited to unveil plans for a transformative project: the establishment of a 10-bedded community hospital in the rural villages of Sullia Taluk, D.K District. This initiative is meticulously designed to uplift and serve the Scheduled Tribes and tribal communities, addressing the unique healthcare needs of these marginalized groups.
Our vision is firmly rooted in community empowerment and holistic well-being. The proposed plan is currently under careful review, drawing insights and support from local advocates and the dedicated Pranav Project Team. Anticipating a groundbreaking moment, we plan to lay the foundation stone for this noble endeavor in 2024, symbolizing a commitment to building a healthier tomorrow.
The grand inauguration is set to be a momentous occasion in 2025, marking the realization of a vision aimed at positively impacting the lives of over 50,000 people across 16 villages in Sullia Taluk. This community hospital will not merely be a medical facility; it will be a beacon of hope, fostering wellness, and resilience within the heart of these rural communities.
In addition to providing essential healthcare services, this community healthcare center will consist of an X-Ray unit, scanning facilities, and a dialysis unit. This holistic approach ensures that the community receives comprehensive medical care, bringing quality healthcare closer to those who need it most. Join us on this journey as we strive to create a legacy of health, dignity, and empowerment in these underserved regions.
