Activity, Women Empowerment

International Women’s Day – 2024

International Women’s Day 2024 was celebrated in association with Suncity Apartment Association Bengaluru on March 16th, 2024. The day was filled with joy and cultural events, attracting more than 1000 attendees. As part of the celebration, we distributed drinking water bottles to 35 women from underprivileged communities as gifts, along with stationary kits called Pustaka for girl children.

The evening was highlighted by a wonderful interactive session with women achievers such as Padmashri Awardee Rani Machiaha, former international athlete Bindhu Rani, and author/blogger Smt. Anuradha Goyal. The event also featured performances by the women’s team showcasing different types of cultural activities. Padmashri Rani Machiah shared her experience of a long journey and her achievements in promoting the Kodava culture. Over 25 women were felicitated, inspiring others to engage in social work.
