Pranava Sethu: Bridging the Gap and Transforming Lives in Athyadi

The Athyadi villagers in Kodagu district have long faced severe isolation for 3-5 months during the monsoon season due to flooding of the Umbale River, which lacks a bridge for safe crossing. This issue, highlighted by local and state news channels, prompted us to take immediate action. In response, we quickly mobilized and initiated the construction of a walkway bridge to address the villagers’ needs. The new bridge, completed between July and August 2024, now benefits the entire community, including young children, students, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
