Education

Project Pustaka 2023: Empowering Education in Kolar District

As part of the Pustaka-2023 project, Pranav Foundation distributed Nali Kali Kits and English storybooks to the Govt Bilingual Primary School, Kilukote, in the Kolar District. This initiative marks the expansion of the Pustaka Project to a new district in Karnataka. The Foundation has planned to develop additional activities, such as painting the school, implementing the Pustaka-2024 project, and other educational initiatives in the future. The school follows both Kannada and English mediums of instruction and has a student population of around 190, making it one of the highest-strength schools in Kolar, with 9 teaching staff members. Trustees Rakshith Gowda, Nethra N, and Rakesh Rai were present during the handover. Our supporter and local coordinator, Naveen, identified the requirements of the school and will be responsible for future implementations.
