Ration kits distribution during covid pandemic

Ration kit distribution is another initiative of the Pranav Foundation started during the pandemic. We have distributed more than 2500 ration kits to the disadvantaged people in Sullia Taluk of the D.K District and other parts of Bengaluru. In Sullia Taluk, we have distributed free ration kits to more than 1000 families impacted by the 2nd lockdown. In another campaign, we reached more than 1500 families belonging to the slum areas.

Our ration kit distribution is one initiative that defines our continuous effort to stand beside the poorer sections of our society. Hence, our ration kit distribution program has been directly benefitting people in many ways. Most of these people are living under dire circumstances. Loss of income induced many challenges for the daily wage earners, street vendors, hawkers, laborers, and other small employees. The impact was adverse due to the series of lockdowns and shutdowns. Hence, unemployment became a cause of concern among people during the second phase of the pandemic. Poverty-stricken families couldn’t manage their regular meals.

Through our free ration kit distribution initiative, we donate food that includes dry ration like rice, sugar, pulses, oil, flour, and lentils to people in the slum areas, remotest and inaccessible parts to eradicate hunger. Pranav Foundation has been doing its best to provide basic necessitates to needy families.

We wish we do more such programs to reach out to more people living in the remotest areas. We urge our generous donors to do their bit to help the people who need them the most. It is an unprecedented situation, and there are several unique challenges ahead. But, we believe together we can get through this period.

Pranav Foundation is committed to helping the underprivileged. We have initiated the free ration kit program to make better arrangements for people to pull them out from hunger issues.

Ration Kit Distribution among cab drivers

In the pandemic, we even extended our help to the cab drivers living in the city. The series of lockdowns led to the loss of income of several cab drivers. We thought about how we can help them. In our pursuit, we distributed ration and medicinal kits to the families of cab drivers living in and around different parts of Bengaluru. We identified the underprivileged ones using various channels.
