Swachh Bharat Abhiyana – Agara Grama Panchayath

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was a momentous initiative for Pranav Foundation, marking one of its major projects since its establishment in 2021. With support from Megha Agrotech, the foundation deployed 2 electric autos in the 4 villages of Agara Gram Panchayath in Bangalore Rural district. These villages, namely Saludoddi, Navagrama, Vaderahalli, and Lakshmipura, were grappling with significant waste management challenges.

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, launched by the Indian government, aimed to address these issues and ensure cleanliness and sanitation in rural areas. Pranav Foundation’s project not only resolved the waste management challenges but also continued its efforts over the years, benefiting approximately 800 households in these villages.

The ongoing waste management tasks in these villages serve as a testament to the success and sustainability of the project. Pranav Foundation’s dedication to extending its impact is evident in its desire to expand similar projects to more villages in need. The foundation recognizes the importance of collaboration with corporates to achieve these goals, highlighting its commitment to community development and environmental sustainability.

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, with its focus on cleanliness and sanitation, aligns perfectly with Pranav Foundation’s mission to improve the lives of rural communities. Through initiatives like these, the foundation continues to make a significant difference and inspire positive change in the areas it serves.
